Risk Coordinator

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Risk Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and assisting risk owners in mitigating potential risks at both the Programme Delivery and Corporate levels. You will play a key role in ensuring effective risk management strategies are implemented to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Risk Identification and Assessment:Conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative risk analysis to identify and assess operational, technical, and project-related risks specific to infrastructure projects.Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and risk owners to identify potential risks related to cost, schedule, quality, and safety.Risk Mitigation and Management:Assist risk owners in developing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks.Design and implement risk mitigation strategies for cost control, project execution, and operational efficiency.Monitor the effectiveness of mitigation actions and recommend adjustments as needed.Risk Monitoring and Reporting:Maintain and update the risk register to document key risks, mitigation actions, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.Track and report on risk trends, patterns, and key risk indicators (KRIs) to support decision-making.Prepare detailed risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and senior management.Coordination and Communication:Act as a liaison between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on risk management activities.Facilitate risk workshops and meetings to encourage proactive risk identification and resolution.Support the Risk Manager in implementing enterprise-wide risk management frameworks and policies.Data Analysis and Tools:Collect, analyze, and interpret project data to identify key risk trends and patterns.Utilize data analytics tools (e.g., R Language, Python, Power BI, Excel) to model risks and generate insights.Leverage risk management software to streamline risk tracking and reporting.Compliance and Best Practices:Ensure all risk management activities comply with project requirements, contractual obligations, and industry best practices.Stay updated on local and international risk management standards and apply them to infrastructure projects.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.A high managerial professional certificate is preferable (e.g., PMP-RMP, PRM, or equivalent).Minimum of 7+ years of experience in risk management, cost control, planning, or a related controls domain, with a focus on infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of risk management principles, frameworks, and methodologies.Proficiency in risk management tools and software, additionaly Excel, Power BI, and risk modeling platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and present findings clearly.Familiarity with infrastructure-specific risks, including geotechnical, environmental, and construction-related risks.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
