The Risk Analyst will work in Chubb’s Global Enterprise Risk Management Unit under the direction of Chubb’s Chief Risk Officer. This position supports the team in a broad range of responsibilities including risk accumulation analysis of Life, Accident and Health products, credit risk monitoring and reporting, macro-economic analyses and reporting, model risk and operational risk governance. The successful candidate will have a great opportunity to make valuable contributions and learn different lines of insurance business and multiple risk disciplines.
Responsibilities
Assist in risk management activities around Chubb’s Global Life and A&H insurance products and processes. Participate in the development and modelling of annual stress testing and event-driven scenarios to analyze the impact of shocks on Chubb’s portfolios and capital position.Track emerging risk trends (e.g., heatwave), assist in the assessment of impact on Chubb’s Life and A&H business, and recommend actions to business units. Participate in drafting and editing of content relating to covered areas in Chubb Group’s Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA), rating agency presentations, and other external disclosures.Support local entities in preparing and reviewing their ORSA reportsContribute to the production of regular reports and presentations to various executive and Board committees.Prepare industry and competitor analysis.Support the implementation of enterprise-wide risk control frameworkParticipate in ad hoc team projectsBachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or risk management.Prior experience in the insurance industry a plus but not required. Inquisitive and embracing challenges. The pay range for the role is $63,700 to $108,300. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
