About the roleThe RGM Manager for Off Trade Spain, Canaries & Portugal will play a pivotal role in delivering Diageo’s Revenue Growth Agenda. Reporting to the Head of RGM Iberia, this role partners closely with Commercial, Customer Marketing and Finance to translate strategy into execution across channels like Modern Trade, Impulse, eCommerce and Wholesale.
This role will be responsible for embedding the RGM Golden Rules at market level:
Driving data-backed pricing strategies based on strategic indices and heuristic scorecards.Optimising promotions to ensure they are fully funded, ROI-positive and aligned with joint business priorities.Crafting consumer-led assortment decisions, improving triple-win outcomes.Governing Trade Investment (TI) with a performance-driven, “more-for-more” approach.This role supports the delivery of the One Commercial Plan, feeding into Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes, investment decisioning, and post-evaluation. It ensures that short- and long-term revenue growth opportunities are collected, and that total customer investment is consistently optimised.
Your Key Responsibilities
Partner with Customer Marketing to build the activation calendar for Off Trade channels, providing price and promo guardrails per segment.Collaborate with Channel Directors to execute the plan and identify revenue and margin growth opportunities across price, promo, pack and channel.Govern and supervise Trade Promotional spend to ensure full visibility, pre-approval and post-evaluation of initiatives.Support the development of business cases for key investments, using data and insights to drive Return of Investment (ROI).Participate in the design and implementation of the One Commercial Plan, aligning with brand, customer and category strategies.Build and lead a knowledge bank of RGM growth drivers and continuously improve capability and performance.Lead key NRM projects to unlock incremental value and scale winning practices across markets.Champion the use of data, process and tools to support effective decision-making and embed commercial discipline in customer investment.About you
3–5 years of experience in RGM, commercial finance, or customer marketingExperience in Off Trade channels and FMCG preferredStrong analytical mentality and commercial competenceExperience with investment evaluation, P&L thinking and Return of Investment modellingExcellent project management and time prioritisationStrong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional collaboratorsProficient in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plusAgile, curious, and collaborative attitudeWorking with usFlexible Working Statement
