Profile Summary:
We are seeking a Sales and Operations Support Manager to lead our Questionnaire and RFP Manager Teams in the Health Solutions line of Business at Voya Financial. This leader will manage a team of multiple tenured/Subject Matter Expert (SME) team members. The teams’ responsibilities include responding to Health Solution RFP questionnaires and working on our National Account RFPs for Life and Disability and Supplemental Health.
Profile Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the overall operation of the Questionnaire and National Account RFP functions. Defines and plans the achievement of team goals and objectives across assigned teams. Directs and prepares studies to determine operational effectiveness and revises programs to increase quality and productivity. Determines service standards.
Oversees operating systems including policies, procedures, and operating structure. Establishes and implements product/service standards and analyzes operations and efficiency of Support Operations.
Assists in solution management dedicated to providing a positive work environment, fostering teamwork, growth, and maintaining a high team morale. Responsible for monitoring and reviewing all team reports to ensure that business is being processed in a timely manner and within service standards.
Hires, trains, develops, and evaluates team members and conducts performance reviews. Ensures overall expectations are met within the teams.
Oversees teams’ demand and capacity modeling. Responsible for communicating changes within the model and making timely adjustments as the team grows and develops over time with the desired strategy and vision of the organization.
Actively partners with Sales and Underwriting organization and other internal departments. Initiates cross-functional efforts to improve processes and enhance the customer experience. Maintains industry contacts as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience:
At least 5-10 years of work experience with a minimum of 2 years of management experience.Financial Services or Insurance Industry experience is not required but beneficial.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A track record of working with other leaders across the value stream on projects.Proven leadership skills – the ability to motivate and lead in a team-based environment.#LI-NV1
Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
