You will be an RF Lead Systems Engineer, Sr Staff at Lockheed Martin, responsible for leading the development and refinement of a sensor solution adaptable to future programs. What You Will Be Doing
As an RF Lead Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Leading the maturation and delivery of a sensor solution, working with fellow IPTs to include Software, Hardware design and analysis across both Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Electrical Engineering (EE) disciplines
• Focusing on RF sensor components and algorithms for sensor processing
• Ensuring the system aligns with strategic goals of the program
• Leading cross-functional engineering activities, including trade studies, system analyses, configuration control, verification planning and execution, affordability considerations, and risk and opportunity management
• Collaborating with customers, integrating and testing planning and execution, and participating in major design reviews

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM), or related
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering activities in support of missile programs, including but not limited to trade studies, system analyses to bound requirements and finalize the architecture, configuration control of the technical baseline, verification planning and execution, affordability considerations, and risk and opportunity management.
• Experience required includes DoD tactical system development program experience, customer interface, requirements derivation/allocation, integration and test planning and execution, understanding of Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) and their application, and participation or leadership in major design reviews.
• Final Secret Clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge in the following areas is strongly desired: RF systems design, development and test.
• Knowledge in common systems incorporated in RF sensors, such as air to ground, or anti-air missiles, and fire control sensors.
• Knowledge in common components, like antennas, embedded processors, thermal solutions, cybersecurity solutions, tactical data links, and similar.
• Able to work in a rapid development environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• The position requires excellent leadership skills in previous assignments, including building relationships with team members, direct reports, and stakeholders.
• Experience in Systems Engineering input for Proposals and development of basis of estimates (BOEs)
• Experience in Cost Account Management and Earned Value Management.
• Experience in MBSE tools and implementation
• Experience with product line management
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
