You Are:

UST is seeking an RF Engineer to join our client’s lab validation team. This is a full-time onsite role where the engineer will support RF calibration, validation, automation, and test execution. The role involves close collaboration with validation engineers and customer teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely reporting.

 

The opportunity:

·       Perform RF calibration and ensure accuracy of RF measurements.

·       Enable and implement RF infrastructure in lab environments.

·       Automate validation methodologies using Python/Shell scripting.

·       Execute RF validation test plans for different system configurations.

·       Assemble and disassemble electrical bench configurations with power supplies, scopes, and BERTs as per documentation.

·       Run test scripts developed by validation engineers; report defects in databases and track through closure.

·       Collect data, adjust units, and provide test results as requested by engineers.

·       Operate RF test and measurement equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power meters.

·       Collaborate closely with customer and cross-functional teams to meet deliverables.

·       Publish daily and weekly status reports summarizing validation activities and results.

 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Hands-on experience in RF calibration and validation workflows.

·       Proficiency with Python and Shell scripting for automation.

·       Experience with RF test and measurement tools such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, or power meters.

·       Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, signal integrity, and test planning.

·       Good documentation, reporting, and defect tracking skills.

·       Ability to work effectively in onsite lab environments with cross-functional teams.

·       Desired Skills

·       Exposure to data collection, analysis, and visualization for RF results.

·       Familiarity with automation frameworks for RF validation.

·       Prior experience in semiconductor validation labs or datacenter environments.

·       Qualification

·       Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

·       5+ years of experience in RF validation, testing, or lab engineering.

 

 

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: California

Compensation Range: $65,000-$98,000

 

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
