The Revit Lead reports to the BIM Department Head and the BIM Production Manager, serving as the project Revit lead across multiple projects.  This role acts as the BIM subject matter expert, providing guidance on troubleshooting, process improvement, and the successful implementation of BIM standards and workflows.  The Revit Lead is responsible for setting up and leading BIM project teams from inception to completion, including preparing BIM Execution Plans, organizing project teams, setting up Revit and CAD projects, and mentoring peers to ensure high-quality deliverables.  

 

What You'll Do

Lead project deliverables in partnership with project managers and project coordinators Develop the ability to lead, delegate, and provide mentorship to other BIM technicians on fundamental BIM tasks Serve as the project Revit/CAD Lead, demonstrating proficiency in managing and executing related tasks Apply understanding of BIM 360 / ACC modules and lead model exchange process Lead quality control of engineering drawings for consistency and legibility Execute the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for projects Create and manage BIM standard documentation & BIM Execution plans and review project proposals. Lead the setup and maintenance of AutoCAD, Revit, & Navis projects Demonstrate a strong ability to care for clients Communicate effectively with team members Facilitate Revit kickoff meetings with client as needed Contribute to BIM process improvements, BIM development tasks and PAE standard projects as needed Develop understanding of BIM level of development (LOD) Perform other duties as assigned

 

What You Bring

Team player Reliable and flexible in style of work and able to maintain a positive attitude Detail oriented Understanding of the construction industry and Engineering disciplines Microsoft Office Suite AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360/ACC, & Navisworks Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills Proficient at time estimation of tasks

 

What We Offer 

 

Hiring Base Salary Range: $63,400-$84,750 annual  This position is eligible for straight overtime pay 

 

The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
