Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Revit Drafter to contribute to ongoing projects by modeling electrical systems based on markup drawings and verbal directions from electrical detailers. The role involves setting up Revit views and sheets for shop drawings and annotating and dimensioning shop drawings for field installation.
ResponsibilitiesModel electrical systems based on markup drawings and verbal directions provided by electrical detailers.Set up Revit views and sheets in preparation for shop drawings.Annotate and dimension shop drawings for field installation.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit, with at least 2 years of experience.Experience in electrical design and low voltage systems.Knowledge and experience in construction, reading blueprints, and architectural drawings.Experience in BIM modeling for M/E/P construction.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates degree in computer design field or equivalent technical school or experience.2-5 years of experience in construction field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD.Ability to solve complex problems and multitask in a fast-paced group environment.Work Environment
The position is based in an office with some options for remote work. The role involves collaboration with other BIM detailers on projects and occasional site visits. Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO, 5 sick days, 6 paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
