About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 13 The Role: We are seeking a results-driven leader to join our team as the Revenue Transformation Architect. In this pivotal role, you will lead the transformation of processes, focusing on mapping, optimizing, and automating workflows related to renewals and new business to start. By designing and implementing scalable solutions, you will enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and accelerate revenue realization. Your work will directly support the implementation of a streamlined revenue operations model, fostering a single seamless and efficient renewal and new business process with the opportunity to impact the broader end-to-end Customer Experience over time The Team: This role is part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team that drives transformation across the organization. Responsibilities & Impact: Process Mapping and Documentation: Conduct an inventory of documentation and mapping of current workflows related to renewal and new business management and processing. Ensure process clarity and accountability, as well as hand-off criteria, across all stakeholder groups. Workflow Optimization: Analyze existing workflows to identify opportunities to reduce friction and accelerate growth. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor workflow efficiency, such as: Revenue Retention Price Uplift New Product Cross-Sale Cancel Avoidance % of Renewals in Delayed Status Average time from renewal initiation to invoicing Number of renewals processed within standard timeframes Number of renewals processed without manual intervention Customer (internal & external) satisfaction scores related to the renewal process Percentage of workflows completed without errors Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Revenue, Account Management, Legal, Finance, Technology, and Revenue Operations teams to align processes, clarify roles and hand-offs throughout the renewal and new business lifecycle with the goal of optimizing and automated processes to drive growth. Automation Strategy and Execution: Identify and prioritize opportunities for automation within the renewal and new business processes. Provide product requirements to technology team for user-friendly automation solutions to facilitate no / low-touch management of critical steps in the renewal and new business processes. Independent Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive roadmap for process improvement and automation, setting clear milestones and driving execution from start to finish. Proactively identify roadblocks and develop strategies to overcome them, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives. Continuous Improvement: Establish monitoring systems to assess the performance of processes and automation tools, incorporating user feedback for iterative improvements. Develop go to market plans in collaboration with Education team, inclusive of training materials and success metrics, and provide ongoing support to ensure team proficiency in new workflows and tools. Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Demonstrated experience in process optimization, project management, or revenue operations, with a strong focus on automation and operational efficiency. Proven ability to work independently, with a track record of setting plans, managing timelines, and executing complex projects with minimal supervision. Exceptional analytical skills, with a history of identifying inefficiencies and implementing data-driven solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency with automation tools and methodologies, and familiarity with industry-standard practices for process improvement. Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, coupled with a commitment to continuous improvement. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Certification in process mapping, optimization, or relevant methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Experience with implementing automation solutions in revenue operations or similar environments. Familiarity with industry-standard process improvement methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments. Experience with data analysis tools and techniques to support decision-making processes.
