Revenue Manager
Description We are looking for a Revenue Manager to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will oversee pricing strategies, leasing trends, and market analysis to optimize revenue performance across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and a keen ability to analyze data, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement strategies that drive operational success. Responsibilities: • Monitor lease expirations and vacancy risks across properties to proactively address exposure and ensure occupancy stability. • Collaborate with property managers, district managers, and marketing teams to optimize leasing strategies and address high-risk vacancies. • Conduct competitor analysis, both online and in-person, to maintain up-to-date market insights and inform pricing strategies. • Generate and analyze reports on occupancy trends, revenue growth, resident retention, and leasing performance to identify areas for improvement. • Lead weekly discussions with property teams to align pricing strategies with market conditions and enhance leasing conversions. • Develop renewal proposals and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless lease transitions. • Train and support managers and district leaders on pricing models, renewal processes, and revenue optimization techniques. • Partner with IT and training departments to enhance software functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates. • Audit unit amenities quarterly and manage leasing specials to ensure accurate marketing and property representation. • Evaluate operational metrics and market trends to recommend pricing adjustments that align with revenue goals. Requirements • Proven experience in revenue management, preferably within the real estate or property management industry. • Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to interpret trends and recommend actionable strategies. • Familiarity with CRM systems, accounting software, and data mining techniques. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Ability to conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform decision-making. • Experience in training and coaching others on revenue management principles and tools. • Knowledge of accounts receivable, billing functions, and budget processes. • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
