Role: Retrofit Operations Manager
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 + standard benefits
Summary of Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end delivery of retrofit programmes in line with PAS 2030/2035 standardsAct as the operational lead for retrofit and decarbonisation initiativesManage PAS documentation, project plans, and maintain audit readiness across all schemesCollaborate with designers, assessors, and compliance consultants to ensure project qualityBuild and manage multidisciplinary delivery teams, including site and office-based staffSupport tendering processes and contribute to bid developmentFoster client relationships and represent the organisation at senior-level meetings and reviewsDrive on-site delivery standards through inspections, compliance monitoring, and HSEQ oversightOversee subcontractor performance and compliance with PAS and MCS standardsEnsure planned energy efficiency improvements are accurately specified and achievedWork with commercial teams to cost and optimise retrofit solutionsLead preparations for external PAS 2030/2035 and MCS auditsCandidate Profile:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in retrofit or decarbonisation project deliveryStrong working knowledge of PAS 2030/2035 compliance frameworksIdeally holds Level 5 qualification in Retrofit Coordination, Sustainability, or related fieldRetrofit Assessor or Coordinator accreditation preferredExperience managing multiple projects and operational teamsCompetent in commercial planning, budget oversight, and HSEQ complianceStrong leadership and stakeholder engagement skillsFull UK driving licence essential
