We are looking for a Retrofit Consultant to lead advanced training and provide high-level advisory input across our retrofit programmes. This flexible, part-time role is perfect for someone active in the sector—whether you’re a Retrofit Coordinator, Assessor, or Designer—who wants to support the next generation of professionals while influencing the national retrofit training landscape.
What you’ll be doing
Leading or co-delivering advanced PAS 2035-aligned training for professionalsActing as a subject matter expert on retrofit standards, roles, and best practiceAdvising on course design, CPD content, and compliance with PAS 2035, TrustMark, and industry guidanceSupporting internal CPD and mentoring for trainers delivering higher-level contentContributing to project-specific consultancy with housing associations, local authorities, and contractorsEngaging with awarding bodies and accreditation partners to ensure content quality and relevance
What you’ll bring
In-depth experience in domestic retrofit, ideally in PAS 2035 roles (Coordinator, Assessor, Designer)Strong knowledge of retrofit standards and the wider policy and delivery landscapeExperience delivering training, mentoring, or technical guidanceAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to a range of audiencesConfidence working independently and contributing at a senior level
