Are you retired or open to coaching and mentoring the Legal Manager and assisting the legal department on a contract basis (1/2 day)?
Candidate Requirements
• Degree – LLB, BA LLB or BProc LLB
• Admitted Attorney preferably
• Membership of a Professional Body (e.g. Law Society of South Africa)
• Membership of the Pension Lawyers Association (not essential)
• FAIS qualifications
• Not less than 7 years legal experience in the Retirement Fund industry is essential
• Sound knowledge/experience of the following: Pension law – especially beneficiary funds, Trust law, Tax law, Immovable Property law, Compliance and Governance of Pension Fund structures, Administration of deceased estates, Law of contract, Law of Intestate Succession, Family law, Financial advisory knowledge, Trusteeship and Fiduciary Services
• Computer literate: Word and Excel
• Available immediately
