Retirement and Benefits Analyst
**Position:** Retirement and Benefits Analyst **Job Description:** Arrow is looking for a **Retirement and Benefits Analyst** to join the Americas compensation and benefits team in our Centennial, CO location. The **Retirement and Benefits Analyst** is responsible for supporting the administration of Arrow’s qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, as well as the health, welfare, wellbeing, and leave of absence benefits in the Americas region. This role will act as a subject matter expert with federal, state and local laws impacting retirement and benefits programs and will assist with compliance in all regulatory requirements, including government filings (eg. Form 5500), and satisfy internal and external audit requirements. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Support the development, recommendation, implementation, communication, compliance and administration of retirement, health, welfare, wellbeing, and leave of absence benefits for the Americas region. + Provide support for escalated employee benefits issues via Arrow’s HR support tool and manage benefit appeals. + Research, analyze, evaluate, and administer Arrow’s qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, either internally or through a partnership with outsourced service provider, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Serve as backup for the administration of Arrow’s Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (SERP). Perform secondary reviews of additional calculations and system entries as needed. + Review and audit employee and Arrow retirement contributions from Payroll on a weekly basis. Collaborate with the payroll team to reconcile contributions and post funding to the recordkeeper for applicable plans on a scheduled basis. Audit retirement plan eligibility and participant data. Resolve discrepancies as needed. Monitor and audit loan data to ensure adherence to terms and compliance with regulatory requirements. + Work with outsourced partner to provide effective customer service and management of the leave of absence administration for assigned cases. Monitor payroll for employees on leave to ensure accuracy and minimize corrections. Report any changes in pay or benefit deductions timely to payroll. + Serve as a liaison with plan recordkeepers and benefit vendors to ensure plans are administered in accordance with plan documents, established procedures and government regulations. Work with vendors to update Summary Plan Descriptions and applicable administrative process documents. + Support US Open Enrollment process by testing the enrollment system. + May assist with or lead additional benefits projects as needed. **What We Are Looking For:** Ideal candidate has at least a 4-year degree and at least 8 years prior retirement and benefits experience with progressively more complex assignments and responsibilities, benefit project management experience, and advanced understanding of retirement and benefits principles, practices and trends. Skills Critical to Success in this Role: Relationship Management: Proven client relationship skills with internal and external stakeholders, the ability to collaborate well, and work effectively as a team member. Project Management: Ability to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously with competing deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Strong organizational skills. Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft email communications and other materials related to retirement and benefits programs. Analytical Skills: Ability to assess situations, understand problems and identify the root cause, evaluate potential solutions and implications, and form a plan to address challenges. Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and proficient use of HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and benefits related web applications required.
