Position Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring that the retail shops are properly merchandised, stocked and clean at all times.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Ensures that the retail shops are properly merchandised, stocked and clean at all timesAssists with overseeing the hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation and counseling of the retail staffEnsures that company and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains accurate records of daily deliveries and transfersMaintains the stores standards and appearanceCommunicates customer requests

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentTwo years of supervisory experience in a high volume retail operation

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and multi-tasking skillsBasic knowledge of Word, Excel and OutlookKnowledge of the Mohegan Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) as it relates to employment

Training Requirements:

Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and proceduresMust attend all appropriate Human Resources Supervisor Training classesKnowledge of Stratton Warren, Micros and NetVu systemsKnowledge of Ascent, EmpowerTime and Manager Self Service systems

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs.Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
