Description Retail Sales Manager Location: Albuquerque, NM | **Full-Time | Exempt** A leading home improvement company is hiring a **Retail Sales Manager** to lead and grow a team of residential sales consultants. This role is all about driving sales, coaching performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. What You’ll Do: * Lead and coach a sales team to hit revenue and satisfaction goals * Grow market share through networking, referrals, and events * Support accurate quoting, closing deals, and profit control * Hire, train, and manage team performance * Collaborate with operations and service to ensure smooth installs * Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism * Represent the company at trade shows and marketing events **What You Bring:** * 3+ years in sales and team leadership * Strong communication, problem-solving, and coaching skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Valid driver’s license and local travel availability * High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred Why You: You’re a results-driven leader who builds strong teams, thrives in fast-paced environments, and knows how to close a deal while keeping customers happy. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales management role or similar leadership position. • Proficiency in CRM systems and ERP solutions to manage customer relationships and business operations. • Strong understanding of retail sales, branding, promotions, and merchandising strategies. • Proven ability to coach and develop a team to achieve high performance. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage billing, cash handling, and financial auditing. • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as ADP, Avaya CMS, and About Time. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships. • A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales goals and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
