As the Restaurant Systems Specialist, you will support the implementation and maintenance of all software and hardware configurations associated with the restaurant Point-of-Sale / technology stack as well as the development and implementation of new technologies. You will define, maintain and program our POS databases and translate user requirements into functional specifications. We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills as well as an aptitude for analytical thinking. This role is based out of our Corporate Office in Phoenix, AZ. As the Restaurant Systems Specialist, You Will: Perform POS programming tasks for menu implementations and LTOs, such as changing prices, adding/removing items and configuring discounts/promotions in Aloha CFC and off premise ordering channels Develop, test and deploy configuration changes and software updates to restaurants in a timely manner. Monitor the deployment of all changes to ensure completion. Follow-up on failed deployments and resolve issues Provide excellent customer service and constant follow-up with restaurant locations until a resolution has been found Support the development and testing of new restaurant technologies such as online ordering & catering systems, curbside, KDS, mobile apps, etc. Maintain appropriate documentation and change management logs Work some early morning, night, or weekend hours as dictated by operational needs Provide high level remote support to solve restaurant systems’ functionality issues and ensure proper operation Provide backup support for other IT disciplines such as basic networking, connectivity, email, and user support Collaborate with technology partners on processes to improve our Operator and guest experiences. Potential travel to NRO’s for installation, staging, and testing of all restaurant equipment & systems. What we require: Minimum 2 years of experience in tech support or help desk role, hospitality industry experience preferred At least 1 year of Point-Of-Sale programming experience required General networking/connectivity knowledge Strong customer service attitude, effective communication skills and function efficiently in high stress/pressure work environment Provide rotating on-call evening/weekend after-hours support for restaurant locations Team-oriented, collaborative attitude What we prefer: Experience with payment processing integrations and other restaurant technology applications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality or technology About Us: Our story begins with Sam Fox, a man passionate about hospitality and endlessly inspired by food and design.
