The Restaurant Domain/POS Portfolio lead is responsible for all aspects of products built for clients. The POS is essential for commerce and restaurant operations, as well as a dependency for new digital features and initiatives, such as offers and loyalty programs.

Your role

Technology Leadership

Participate in planning and executing engineering strategies, product roadmaps, and deployment plans for feasibility and scalabilityResponsible for engineering team performance within Restaurant Tech/POS domainProvide engineering and support to maintain critical systemsServe as liaison between engineering teams and senior leadershipCollaborate with client product leaders to ensure architectural consistencyAdvise on the application of technology to address business needs in the restaurant sector

Relationship Management

Ensure timely and efficient delivery of POS features to global client marketsOversee documentation of product requirements and coordinate approval processesMaintain communication with senior client stakeholders in the restaurant domainPrepare presentations outlining the value provided by Capgemini teamsAdvise clients on POS modernization strategiesWork with client product owners, architects, and tech leads to facilitate collaboration

Development Lifecycle Management

Guide software delivery using DevOps practices, including CI/CD and test automationManage projects throughout the systems development lifecycle, from requirement definition to system implementationSupport development teams during design and build phasesResponsible for code quality and testing across project phases (unit, component, integration, user acceptance)Assist with release and deployment planning

People Management

Mentor and support professional growth of team membersCoordinate with client and Capgemini staffing to meet resource needsManage budget and financial forecasting for the POS portfolio

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field7–10 years of experience supporting retail systems or IT consulting in retail environmentsUnderstanding of retail systems within complex, integrated contextsKnowledge of system design and architecture, including experience with complex systems and architectural patternsProficient written and verbal communication skills for conveying product strategy and roadmaps to multiple audiencesExcellent presentation skills Experience with prioritization, feature roadmapping, and backlog managementDemonstrated ability to lead technical teams and promote professional growthExperience working in Agile environments with focus on continuous improvementStrong stakeholder engagement and ability to collaborate with both business and technical teamsExperience with DevOps methodologieYour skills and experience20 years – in IT Consulting industry with focus on managing client relationship, delivery supervision, team leading, contracts

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $142,200 - $288,750.This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
