Internship Position: Responsible Investment Localisation Project Intern

ERM China is currently seeking an intern to support our Shanghai or Beijing office. The internship will be full-time during the summer and potential transition to part-time from September through December.

This is a great opportunity for students who are passionate about environmental consulting and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global organization.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research

Investigate investment behaviours and preferences of Chinese individual and institutional investorsAnalyse the regulatory landscape, product features, and market trends in ChinaCompare international responsible investment approaches with local practicesAssist in developing educational content and training materials tailored for the Chinese market

Project Execution Support

Support the planning and implementation of project activitiesAssist with project tracking and reporting tasks

Requirements

Current undergraduate or postgraduate student, preferably in finance, economics, marketing, or related fieldsStrong reading and writing skills in both Chinese and EnglishInterest and basic understanding of finance, responsible investment, and sustainable financeFamiliarity with China's digital media landscape, including platforms like Xiaohongshu and WeChat

Core Skills

Excellent writing and editing abilitiesCross-cultural communication and teamwork skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data analysisStrong time management and project coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in market research or investment analysisInternship or project experience in the financial sectorFamiliarity with responsible or sustainable investing conceptsContent creation or social media management experienceAbility to think independently and write analytical reports
