We are looking for a caring, experienced individual to provide early morning childcare for a teenage girl in Wausau, WI. As a Specialized Childcare Provider, you will play an important role in offering support, mentorship, and positive engagement with the teen.The ideal candidate will be patient, dependable, and able to motivate the teen to help her thrive.  This teen enjoys horses, music, movies/tv, swimming and taking walks. 
Location: Wausau, WIWage: $17.66 per hourHours: 20 hours per week
Scheduled start times:                 Mondays: 4:40am                 Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 5:30am                  Fridays: 3:30am. 
Responsibilities: Provide direct supervision and support to ensure the teen’s safetyCommunicate effectively and professionally with the teen and her family. Ensure teen gets off to school timely either by bus or transport her in your vehicle
Skills:Be consistent and confident in your abilitiesHave experience working with teens with mental health issuesAble to use redirection/de-escalation techniques 
Qualifications:Age 18 or older with HS Diploma or GED.  Valid Driver’s License, Reliable Vehicle, and auto insuranceWilling to work with the teen in the community or your own home. Previous experience preferred with teens with mental health issues. Family prefers FEMALE providers.
