We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
Do you love helping people? Do you love working with youth and families? Are you compassionate, reliable and have great communication skills? Are you honest, trustworthy, patient and a good role model? If you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you! Respite provider in or around the Chippewa Falls area! Position includes caring for a young teen girl!
Benefits: You will be working for a family that is very appreciative of what you do! You would be helping a family live their best life!
Things She Enjoys: • Arts & Crafts • Bike Riding - (slower pace) • Going to the Park • Swimming (YMCA or outdoor pool in Chippewa)
Hours/Desired Schedule: • One weekend a month • Up to 10 hours a month Schedule would be determined with family
Pay: $17.66 per hour $256.00/day
Key Responsibilities: • Foster an open and communicative relationship to build trust and help her feel comfortable. • Help her stay busy and engaged with activities. • Assist with meal preparation, while encouraging her to become more independent in the kitchen. • Foster life skills related to cooking, responsibility, and personal growth.
Ideal Candidate: • A kind, patient, and understanding individual who can offer structure while encouraging independence. • Someone who enjoys arts and crafts, and creative writing • Open to regular communication with the family and adaptable to a changing schedule.
Requirements: • Must be openminded to "Therian" beliefs • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire
