Are you a compassionate Respite Worker who has previous experience working with teens with mental health and behavioral concerns? Then this is the position for you!
We are seeking a Respite Worker to provide one on one supports for a Teen Girl in Athens, WI! This Teenage Girl loves reading, drawing, music, and learning new activities.
Respite care will be conducted in the provider’s (your) home. Community outings are also encouraged.
Wage: $17.66 per hour
Schedule: • 10 Hours Per Week • Mostly Evenings and Weekends • Flexible Schedule
Job Duties: • Supervision and Safety Awareness • Building Life Skills, Confidence, and Independence • Modeling Positive Behaviors • Companionship and Social Engagement • Provide transportation to/from community activities • Engage with client and encourage appropriate behaviors.
Requirement: • Authorized to work in the U.S. • Criminal/Caregiver background check • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required • Previous experience working with teens preferred. • Previous experience working in mental health field preferred. • Females respite providers are encouraged to apply!
