We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are looking for an engaging Respite Provider to hang out with an awesome teenage client to give mom and dad some time for self-care! Flexible Scheduling, fun environment, get paid to have FUN.
Pay: • $17.66/hourly
Schedule: • To be officially discussed and determined between provider and managing party. • Looking for weekend availability; working up to overnight sessions.
Tasks:• Provide respite care to a teenage client in their home. • Engage with client and encourage appropriate behaviors. • Assist with care needs (ie. preparing snacks, toileting reminders, medication reminders) • Hang out and have fun! This client enjoys making conversation, jumping on the trampoline, carrying around their favorite toy, looking at family photos, and so much more!
Qualifications: • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation preferred. • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. • Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment. • Must pass background check. • Must be comfortable with cats in home.
