Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing high-quality respiratory care across a diverse patient population. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will deliver both routine and advanced respiratory therapy to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a variety of clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
+ Provide care in critical care environments, including the Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Emergency Department, and other high-acuity areas.
+ Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response and code teams.
+ Rotate through various departments within the Health System as needed to support patient care.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule:
+ May include rotating day and night shifts.
+ Flexibility to work in any area of the Health System is required.
Salary Range: $65.08-$65.08 Hourly

Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
+ Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or similar
+ Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or similar preferred
+ Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Licenses/Certifications:
+ RCP State License in the state of California
+ Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) (American Heart Association only)
+ Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
+ Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS)
+ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS) preferred
+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
Physical Demands:
+ Must be able to lift and carry 35 lbs.
+ Must be able to physically roll a 100 lb., horizontally positioned patient
+ Must be able to stand and/or walk 75% of the 12-hour workday
+ Must be able to sit, push, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods of time
+ Must have skill in performing routine pulmonary function test
+ Must have familiarity and knowledge of handling: Blood Gas Machines, Exercise Systems, and other types of equipment routinely found in pulmonary function laboratory
+ Must possess oral and written communication skills sufficient to communicate with colleagues, administrators, patients, visitors, staff, faculty, physicians, and on-site servicemen
