Job Summary
The Manager, Respiratory Therapy is responsible for overseeing all clinical and operational aspects of the Respiratory Therapy department to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. This role involves leading a team of respiratory therapists, developing and implementing department policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive respiratory care. The Manager also plays a key role in quality improvement initiatives and staff development.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related healthcare field required 3-5 years of experience in respiratory therapy required 1-2 years of prior leadership experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of respiratory therapy practices, equipment, and regulatory standards. Strong leadership and management skills to effectively guide and develop clinical staff. Ability to analyze data and implement quality improvement initiatives for optimal patient outcomes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration within the healthcare team. Organizational skills to manage resources, budget, and operational responsibilities efficiently.Licenses and Certifications
RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist required BCLS - Basic Life Support required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
