**Position Summary and Highlights:**
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is seeking a **Full-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist** to join the **Endoscopy** team!
This position provides support to a variety of procedures as a Respiratory Therapist. Procedures include, but are not limited to respiratory assessment, delivery of medicated aerosols, assistance with intubation, CPR, bronchoscopy/EBUS/Navs assistance, all in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. The role requires independent clinical judgment, participation in multidisciplinary rounds, and active mentorship of new and existing staff.

+ Schedule: Position is scheduled for 4 10-hour shifts a week from either 7a to 5:30 p or 6:30a to 5p. Colleagues on this team enjoy 3 days off per week. Call opportunities are rotated amongst the team.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ License to practice respiratory care from the Idaho Board of Medicine required.
+ Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
+ Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Demonstrates the ability to assess changes in the patient’s clinical condition, make independent judgements, and modifies the care as necessary according to departmental policies and approved physician protocols.
+ Provides set-up, preparation, and assistance of endoscopic procedures for physicians and endoscopic surgical staff.
+ Acts as preceptor, actively supports and constructively contributes to the development of new and existing staff members.
