Resources Planner
Purpose of the Role: To support short-, medium-, and long-term planning for demand forecasting, inventory, and production. Responsible for maintaining master data accuracy and integrity. Key Activity Areas: + Demand Forecasting + Inventory & Production Planning + Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) + Quality Assurance + Continuous Improvement Responsibilities for each activity area: Demand Forecasting: + Analyze and evaluate supply and demand forecasts to ensure adequate inventory levels. Inventory & Production Planning: + Convert planned orders to purchase requisitions within 3 working days after SO confirmation by master scheduler / engineering release of PN. + Download and manage all plant revisions. + Create and maintain material master data and BOMs per request. + Propose make-to-buy opportunities and safety stock settings for items with continuous demand. + Collaborate with engineering to allocate excess inventory. + Generate and analyze inventory reports/KPIs. + Manage exception messages to ensure timely conversion of planned orders. + Coordinate with procurement, operations, and sales to identify and resolve supply chain issues. + Monitor inventory levels to balance customer demand and minimize excess. + Attend ODM and production meetings to escalate issues as needed. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): + Implement HSE policies and management system requirements. + Identify and report HSE risks and incidents. + Participate in HSE training and hazard identification programs. + Promote a clean, safe, and respectful workplace. + Use appropriate PPE and exercise stop work authority when necessary. Quality Assurance: + Adhere to quality processes per customer requirements and company quality management system. + Recommend updates to procedures and work instructions. + Ensure corrective actions are implemented within specified deadlines post-audit. Continuous Improvement: + Support process improvements aligned with business goals. + Participate in Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and problem-solving activities. + Submit and implement improvement suggestions. Required Qualifications: + Education: University degree, preferably in Technical (Mechanical or Oilfield Equipment) or Economics + Certifications: APICS preferred + Experience: Minimum 3 years in a relevant role + Skills: SAP knowledge preferred + Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. Work Context + Equipment Used: PC, phone, copier, printer + Travel: As required for training or job duties Delegation & Authority + Authorized to create SAP requisitions within defined limits. + May sign quality procedures and other documents as per role. + Holds stop work authority for unsafe or nonconforming conditions. + Delegation of authority must be written, time-bound, and role-specific.
