Resource/Facility Support Specialist (FORSCOM)
Position: Resource/Facility Support Specialist Type: Full- time Location: Fort Bragg, NC (Liberty) FORSCOM Eastern Regional Office Travel: 10% **Contingent upon award** Position Summary: Resource/Facility Support Specialists are essential in ensuring language training centers run smoothly and are always ready for mission requirements. This role supports the management, inventory, scheduling, and distribution of training materials, equipment, and workspace for language programs. The Specialist will also assist instructors and program staff with logistical and administrative functions, support setup/teardown for instructional activities, and coordinate closely with site leadership for resource allocation and facility scheduling. This position ensures the resources and environment needed for high-velocity language training operations are always maintained at full readiness. Duties and Responsibilities: These services are required to support unique efforts which may require: + Track, inventory, and issue educational materials, publications, training aids, and equipment as required by instructors and students + Control and maintain an extensive inventory of language/lab materials and classroom equipment; keep records inspection-ready at all times + Schedule and support facility resources (classrooms, labs, equipment); maintain facility usage reports, calendars, and records + Assist with classroom, event, and A/V setup and teardown; duplicate classroom/training materials and training aids + Provide customer service support for resource checkout and orientation to facility equipment + Generate and submit required reports on inventory, resource usage, scheduling, and attendance to the COR + Support administrative filing, supplies, and digital organization for staff and instructors + Ensure compliance with safety, security, and administrative procedures at all times Required Skills and Abilities: + High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or additional training in office, logistics, or education administration preferred + Minimum 2 years' experience in facilities, inventory/resource management, library/education support, or administrative role supporting government/military contracts + Demonstrated proficiency with computers and office software (MS Office Suite), data entry, and digital recordkeeping + Strong organizational, time management, and communications skills + Ability to interface professionally with government/military customers, leadership, and staff + U.S. Citizenship + Eligible to obtain/maintain NACI clearance Language Proficiency Requirements: + Professional written and spoken English at ILR L3/R3/S3/W3 or higher + Ability to follow government security, conduct, and privacy policies + Must complete mandatory training, including Anti-Terrorism/OPSEC/Information Assuranc Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The IC frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The IC must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
