We are seeking a Resort Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the resort. This highly visible leadership role reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for ensuring that each guest’s experience is seamless, inspired, and aligned with the Alila brand philosophy. This role oversees the Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Spa, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and our signature camping and glamping offerings.
**Key Responsibilities**
_Operational Leadership_
Lead daily operations across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Camping/Glamping. Partner with the General Manager and Leadership Committee to align departmental goals with property strategy. Ensure departments are operating efficiently, exceeding guest expectations, and meeting service standards reflective of Forbes and Alila. Serve as Manager-on-Duty and act as the General Manager’s delegate as needed.
_Guest Experience & Brand Stewardship_
Champion the guest journey from arrival to departure. Ensure a consistent, high-touch, personalized experience across all departments. Model genuine connection, thoughtful service, and emotional intelligence in guest interactions and recovery. Uphold the property’s commitment to wellness, sustainability, and place-based authenticity.
_Team Culture & Leadership_
Coach and mentor department heads to lead engaged, high-performing teams. Promote an inclusive, respectful, and empowering work environment that supports growth and accountability. Set and review department goals, support talent development, and foster collaboration across functions.
_Financial Strategy & Business Planning_
Participate in the annual budget, forecast, and business planning process. Monitor departmental performance to ensure alignment with financial goals. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management to drive occupancy, average rate, and overall profitability.
_Partnership & Communication_
Communicate regularly with ownership and Hyatt corporate teams. Support brand evaluations, audits, and internal quality assurance efforts. Participate in community and sustainability initiatives that reflect the resort’s values.
**Compensation & Benefits**
+ Salary range: $135,000 – $180,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

**Qualifications:**
We are looking for a proven hospitality leader with the following background and experience:
+ 8–10 years of progressive hospitality experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
+ Strong operational background in luxury resort environments, preferably with all-inclusive or wellness-driven experiences
+ Hands-on experience leading Rooms and Food & Beverage operations is required
+ Previous exposure to glamping, outdoor accommodations, or nature-integrated experiences is a plus
+ Forbes Five-Star, or boutique/lifestyle brand experience strongly preferred
+ Strong business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
+ Emotionally intelligent leadership style that fosters collaboration, accountability, and team well-being
+ Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
+ Fluent in English; additional language skills a plus
