A Process Development Engineer is responsible for the development, characterization and optimization of MEMS resonator devices to meet the requirements for volume production as part of the analog technology development team. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader in the area of resonators and oscillators driving the characterization and optimization of the device and process to insure robustness, reliability, and manufacturability meeting all electrical device performance targets.
**About the job**
As a Resolution Enhancement Techniques (RET) Quality Control Engineer, you'll architect new TI products and make our customers' visions a reality. You'll define, design, model, implement, and document analog, digital, and RF integrated circuits (ICs). Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
**Responsibilities:**
+ Validate the lithography quality of OPC recipes on specific designs.
+ Review wafer data from the Fab team and give feedback to the OPC team.
+ Work with Process Engineer to design layout structures for validation.
+ Provide layout coordinates to Metrology team for measuring validation structures.
+ Compile and analyze wafer-image (SEM) data for reporting to OPC engineer.
+ Compile and manage a collection of lithography “hotspots” (troublesome layout structures) for testing and validation.
+ Facilitate the release of OPC recipes, working with OPC-recipe writers.
+ Work with recipe engineers to design and create tests.
+ Accept or reject recipe updates based on test results.
+ Triage test failures.
+ Release recipes for production after a team review of the test results.
+ Ensure that recipe writers have followed approved testing procedures.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Master's in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry or related degree
+ 5+ years’ experience in a semiconductor photolithography and/or OPC development
+ Programming experience with any scripting language (e.g., Python)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry or related degree
+ Strong lithography knowledge
+ GDSII/OASIS-layout editing and creation
+ Spotfire/JMP for reporting
+ Jira experience
