Black & McDonald Limited is seeking an ambitious, hardworking and innovative candidate to fill a Residential Maintenance Technician opening for work at a client site in Oromocto, New Brunswick. This individual would be responsible for general home maintenance and repairs on occupied and vacant residential housing units (PMQs) for CFB Gagetown. They will work in a team environment that oversees the safe, secure and environmentally sound operations and maintenance of these assets in a cost-effective manner.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Perform routine maintenance and repair work on residential unitsInstall, repair or replace siding, windows, and doorsComplete interior painting and crack filling as requiredIdentify and resolve minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issuesRespond to service calls and complete work in a timely mannerMaintain a clean and safe work environmentCommunicate clearly with supervisors and residents when neededUsing technology to clearly document work performedAdherence to and implementation of health, safety, quality control and environmental policies and programs
