PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a customer-focused and hands-on Residential Field Service Technician to support a leading energy efficiency program in partnership with a local electric utility. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working directly with customers, traveling throughout Florida, and making a positive impact on energy conservation.

Your Role and Impact
As a Residential Field Service Technician, you’ll install energy-saving products in residential homes, educate customers on reducing energy consumption, and qualify households for additional free services. You’ll be part of a mobile team dedicated to improving energy efficiency across selected neighborhoods in Florida.

What You’ll Do Install energy-efficient products such as LED bulbs, low-flow aerators, showerheads, insulation jackets, and foam sealants. Educate customers on energy-saving practices and available services. Accurately report installation measures and document safety issues. Drive company-provided work vehicles to customer homes and project sites. Participate in neighborhood kickoff events and outreach efforts. Travel approximately 60% throughout Florida; hotel and food expenses covered. What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with clean MVR (pre-employment and biannual checks required). Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and with a partner. Physical ability to perform installations and travel overnight as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in sales, customer service, HVAC, cable/satellite installation, or energy efficiency. Ability to speak Spanish (preferred but not required). Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness. Why Join Us

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
