Residential Account Manager - Maine (Remote)

DuPont Performance Building Solutions has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Account Manager in the residential construction market for Maine, located in the Maine area.  Based on the candidate selected, the level will be managed in accordance with applicable compensation guidelines and promotional criteria. 

This position primarily will focus on increasing sales and market share of DuPont Performance Building Solutions products by driving specifications at the channel and contractor level and analyzing, developing, maintaining and managing our local dealers and distributors. Emphasis will focus on defining a local distribution strategy for the residential construction markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct responsibility for residential distribution, lumber dealers, builders, installers, contractors and key industry influencers.Collaboration with Building Knowledge Team, Pricing, Contracts and National Account Managers to properly execute.Representative to ensure product is in the market to turn specifications into sales.Develop, communicate, and execute against tactical implementation accounts plans that support the national business objectives for all strategic distributor locations in their area.Partner with local Building Envelope Specialist in market to drive full portfolio sales and support.Management of activities centering around distribution and owning the flow of DuPont Performance Building Solutions products through that channel including:Responsible for tracking conversions through all stages using company CRM toolDealer & Contractor product and installation trainingProblem resolution and troubleshootingProvide input to Pricing Manager on overall territoryIdentify, negotiate, train, and manage the distributor for all new product introduction and commercialization.Support design & builder community with building envelope technical expertise including architectural details, code consulting, and Pre-Construction activities utilizing PBS tools.Responsible for project management/tracking of project opportunities with the CCM to secure specifications.Provide regular and consistent feedback on technical needs, new building envelope technologies, competitive solutions/systems, and strategic opportunities/partnerships for business growth.Become an industry ambassador within the residential community and hold leadership positions in associations such as NAHB.Develop, track and implement Rebate Programs for targeted customers.

 Qualifications:

BS degree required - Architecture, Construction, or similar degree preferredFive years successful sales experience preferredEnglish speakingConstruction industry knowledgeUnderstanding of Building Science desiredHigh level of business strategy and market understandingAdvanced knowledge of SalesForceAbility to be a strong customer advocateExcellent negotiation skillsHighly motivated and results-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills are required.High safety awareness and demonstrated personal safety engagement are requiredAbility to travel 50% of the time within and 5-10% of the time outside the local market required

The individual will own and drive the channel management strategy for Maine. The successful candidate should be located in Maine.
