RESIDENT FIELD ENGINEER
Provide on-site technical expertise and support to our systems to ensure high quality technical assistance to our customer **Minimum Required Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, is a plus or a related technical diploma is appreciated **Minimum Required Experience:** 1+ years of experience in field service support, preferably in medical imaging or healthcare equipment. **Minimum Required Certification:** Valid driver's license, PACS or any certification in imaging equipment or healthcare are a plus. **Your Role:** * As a Resident Field Engineer at Philips, you will provide direct, on-site technical support for Philips healthcare systems at a designated customer site, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. * Ensuring clinical system technologies provided remain operational and reliable, directly supporting customer care and healthcare efficiency. * You’ll be a vital part of a dedicated technical service team, collaborating with Philips Technical Service Support and service manager, in Iberia clinical staff, hospital administrators, and regional support engineers. You'll also serve as the first point of contact for escalated service issues at your assigned customer site. * You’ll receive continuous dedicated technical training, exposure to cutting-edge healthcare technology, and career advancement opportunities within service and support leadership, project management, or system specialization tracks. Soft skill development, mentorship, and cross-functional exposure are part of the growth journey. **You're the right fit if:** - You have 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing field service engineering role, preferably supporting clinical informatics systems like PACS, RIS, VNA or imaging systems like CT, MRI, or X-ray. - Strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently under pressure, manage time effectively, and handle high-stakes environments like hospitals. - Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, is a plus or a related technical diploma is appreciated - You’re proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellence in a clinical environment.
