Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Resident Engineer - Landscape with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing landscape design and implementation projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability in the unique environmental conditions of the region.

Develop and review landscape design plans, ensuring they align with project requirements and local regulationsCollaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to integrate landscape designs into overall project plansOversee the implementation of landscape projects, including site preparation, planting, and irrigation system installationConduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standardsManage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectivelyProvide technical guidance and support to the landscape construction teamDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and local authoritiesStay updated on innovative landscaping techniques and sustainable practices suitable for the Dubai climatePrepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or a related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience in landscape engineering or a related fieldProficiency in landscape design software, including AutoCAD and SketchUpStrong knowledge of irrigation systems and sustainable landscaping practicesExcellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyIn-depth understanding of local environmental conditions and regulations in Dubai and the UAEKnowledge of native and adaptive plant species suitable for the regionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
