Resident Engineer – Civil (Water Transmission and Distribution)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer-Civil to join our team. In this role you will manage the Civil Construction Supervision of major EPC water transmission and distribution Projects in Abu Dhabi Emirate.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee the O&M contracts for parks in the Al Dhafra Region, ensuring the application of best practices to achieve operational goals.Manage and monitor contract timelines, budgets, and staffing, while providing guidance to contractors and staff.Communicate with architects and engineers, incorporating their insights into project drawings.Ensure final designs comply with Emirate regulations and approved manuals.Identify and document changes in project scope.Identify and communicate potential design issues to the team.Determine the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for technical aspects of the contract, and monitor progress.Review work to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures, and ensure quality is acceptable.Conduct performance evaluations and take corrective actions as necessary.Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project.Ensure client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.Expedite the distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Managers.Prepare technical reports, project manuals, and documentation of activities for the client and project management.Obtain, analyze, and circulate technical and contractual information to project disciplines.Notify project management and other affected personnel of all changes.Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringRegistered as a Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer, or a similar professional designation preferrableAt least 15 years of post-graduate experience in the design, site supervision, and construction management of large-scale EPC water transmission and distribution projects, preferably with prior experience in the UAE or Gulf region.Minimum of 5 years as Civil Resident Engineer in EPC water transmission or distribution projects.Proven expertise in constructing civil infrastructure such as pumping stations, concrete reservoirs/tanks, roads, chambers, micro tunneling crossings, pipelines, and related structures.Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a large, multidisciplinary team.What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
