We are seeking a motivated mid-career Reservoir Sales Engineer to join our dynamic Digital & Integration division at SLB in **Houston Texas** . In this role, you will collaborate with geoscientists and engineers to support our customers in leveraging Petrel RE, Eclipse and Intersect to optimize their energy exploration and development activities.
The job responsibility includes efficient troubleshooting and resolving software challenges that occurred during project, providing guidance and training customers on software, workflows, supporting consulting projects, and delivering reservoir simulation analyses in a timely manner. Additionally, the job includes promoting SLB’s cutting-edge technologies, developing new business, and contributing to high-quality project outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:**
• **Customer Care Support:**
Provide expert technical assistance through our Customer Care Center, addressing client inquiries on reservoir simulation and reservoir engineering activities with clarity and efficiency.
• **On-Site Client Support:**
Collaborate directly with clients on-site to troubleshoot, guide, and support their use of SLB technology and workflows, ensuring optimal satisfaction and successful outcomes.
• **Public Training & Education:**
Deliver high-quality training through our NExT public training programs, empowering users to master our software technologies and improve their workflow capabilities.
• **Reservoir Simulation for Consulting Projects:**
Execute reservoir simulation tasks for asset consulting projects by integrating multidisciplinary data, using industry-leading tools, and delivering high-quality reservoir simulation analyses, such as history matching, forecasting and field development planning.
• **Business Development:**
Develop new business by promoting SLB new technologies and service offerings, supporting marketing activities such as presentation, demonstrations, and technology launches.
• **Continuous Learning & Development:**
Engage in ongoing training and career development opportunities offered within the company to enhance technical skills, domain knowledge, and customer engagement capabilities.
**Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
• 5+ Years as a Reservoir Simulation Engineer
• Extensive hands-on experience in Petrel RE, Eclipse and Intersect software, including workflows and multidisciplinary data integration.
• Proven experience in reservoir simulation studies, including history matching, forecasting and field development plan.
• Familiarity with offshore reservoir simulation for regions such as Gulf of America, Offshore East Canada, Alaska, Caribbean.
• Experience with Python programming language, Artificial and Machine Learning technology is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset
• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities
• Experience in training delivery is a plus
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
• Willingness to travel as required for on-site support and training
