Reservations Manager - Crowne Plaza Resort Guam
**Job Inforamtion and Requirements:** + Must be US Citizen, US Permanent Residents or Residents of Federated States of Micronesia. + No US work visa will be provided. + No Relocation Package + Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000 per annum **What’s the job?** A team leader who coaches employees to reinforce winning behaviors to drive revenue, guest retention, engagement and results that deliver on our goals. Delivers and executes strategies and initiatives that promote brand preference, builds customer loyalty and operational effectiveness. Enables change within a contact center environment where the team adapts and adopts required change quickly and effectively. **Your-day-to-day** **Reservation Management** + Oversee daily reservations via phone, email, online booking systems + Ensure accuracy in bookings, rates, and guest details. + Manage group bookings and allotments for events, conferences, and travel agencie **Reservation Team Management** + Lead and supervise the reservations team, including scheduling shifts and monitoring performance. + Conduct training sessions for reservation agents on systems, upselling, and guest communication. + Hold regular team meetings to share updates, review kpis, and address challenges. + Coach underperforming team members and recognize high achievers. + Foster a positive, service-oriented work culture that aligns with hotel brand standards. **Revenue Optimization** + Work closely with the revenue manager to adjust rates, packages, and availability. + Monitor occupancy trends and implement strategies to maximize RevPAR (revenue per available room). **Customer Service** + Handle special requests, VIP bookings, and guest complaints. + Train reservation agents on service standards and upselling techniques. **Coordination & Communication** + Liaise with Front office, Sales, Housekeeping, and F&B teams to ensure smooth guest experience. + Update internal systems when reservations change. **Reporting** + Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports. + Analyze booking patterns and suggest improvements. **What we need from you** **Education -** bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business management preferred but not required. **Service Years -** Five Plus (5+) years of reservations experience in a full-service resort including at least three (3) years in a management role. **Knowledge and skills** + Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees. + Problem solving, reasoning, analytical, motivating, and training abilities are often used when estimating food productions, coordinating functions, and performing general management duties. + Basic math skills, reading, and writing are used when completing paperwork, budgets, and other reports. + Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather. + Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally. **Language** + Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading, and writing.) + Benefitial if speaks one of more languages (Korean, Japanese and/or Chinese) **Preferred (if required)** + Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds + Frequently walking, standing up at guest-facing areas + Bending, stooping, kneeling + Safe handling of sensitive and confidential guest information. **What we offer** In return we'll provide you a competitive financial and benefits package which may include Health (medical, dental & vision) insurance, a 401k plan with company match, Paid Time Off and Employee Discount.
