Job Description

We are looking for a detailed orientated and passionate Reservations Agent to deliver unforgettable experiences to our guests for our three luxury Rosewood properties in New Zealand – Rosewood Cape Kidnappers, Rosewood Kauri Cliffs and Rosewood Matakauri.

About the Opportunity: 

As a Reservations Agent, you will be based to Rosewood Kauri Cliffs. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, and working closely with Management and Associates within each property, you will be a part of a team that is more than simply a hotel reservations department selling rooms. 

Our team are the first step of our guests’ extraordinary experience – with you they learn about what we have to offer. From our luxury accommodation, three spectacular locations, transportation options and a wide range of experiences and activities.


Responsibilities include:

Act as the main point of contact for reservation related inquiries (email, phone and online)Be familiar with each property, including features, unique services and local activities and experiences available.Confirming reservations, modifications and cancellationsCoordinating and booking activities and transport bookings for future guests.Work with the Front Office teams to ensure information and handovers have been clearly communicated.Presenting yourself to our discerning clientele in a manner that aligns with the Rosewoods image and service delivery  

About You: 

This role will suite someone who has a passion to deliver an experience that will surprise and delight our guests. You will ideally have: 

Previous experience in reservations, or front office / reception experience in a five-star hotel or lodge environment.Experience working with a Property Management system – ideally OPERA Cloud   An understanding of (and background in) luxury hospitality and / or tourismA commitment to high standards of accuracy with excellent serviceHave a friendly and professional telephone etiquette The ability to uphold confidentiality and sensitive information, both on and off duty  Excellent communication skillsExceptional organisation skills and attention to detailFlexible and adaptable – including being able to work weekend shifts on a rotation basis.
