As Research Technologist, you will join Dr. Chung and her team of postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and research students. In this role, your work will include both research and administrative tasks, such as performing cell cultures, feeding Cardiomyocytes, maintaining iPSC lines and creating engineered heart tissues. This position offers an excellent opportunity to explore the Research Career Pathway. **A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with rotating holiday and weekend requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Participate in daily research project activities. + Plan, organize, perform and monitor daily project protocols. + Collect, prepare and maintain required research documentation, including informed consent records, case records, clinical notes and medical reports. + Report and assist with managing protocol deviations, adverse events and other project-related issues. + Be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the lab. + Order and purchase supplies, gather information on new equipment and recommend purchases.
