The Data Research team plays a key role in researching, verifying, and improving data for ZoomInfo’s best-in-class B2B data offerings. We are looking for a Research Specialist I to join the research team and deepen research impact on ZoomInfo data coverage and quality. The right candidate for this role has an engaging personality, an eye for quality, and a drive to learn with us as we continue to improve the top-quality research processes that keep ZoomInfo ahead of our competition

What you’ll do:

Have a basic understanding of how ZI data works, with deeper expertise in data and projects of the focus areas.  Conduct company and contact research through online resources and phone-based research.  Enter data into our system through various internal tools.  Conduct research projects as needed, including, but not limited to, data cleanup, data health testing and model testing. 

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in market research, applied social sciences, economics, business or related field, or 2+ years of equivalent work experience Understanding of secondary research  Previous experience in a market research function focusing on secondary research a plus Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively engage with and confirm details through phone calls. Excellent computer and research skills; beginner skills in Google Sheets/ excel Attention to detail; ability to detect minor errors in data and make good business decisions in ambiguous situations Ability to establish priorities and work independently with supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, able to juggle different projects when needed Be a team player with a passion to grow with the team

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.$36,000—$49,500 USD
