Position is term-limited for 1-2 years, with possibility of extension depending on research funding. Candidate will assist with multiple human research studies, with possibility of future animal research studies. Responsibilities include pick up/receipt and processing of human biological samples (blood, urine, stool, etc.). Will be responsible for performing basic tests, setting up and operating necessary lab equipment, and knowing how to properly dispose of both chemical and biohazardous waste. Maintain and complete all specimen data entry within multiple databases and generate data summaries. Some supervision/training of undergraduate students may be required.
