The Research Coordinator will develop and oversee research efforts that improve outcomes for people with disabilities. Responsibilities include: + Coordinate research and provide consultation on disability related research efforts across the department + Research results to recommend changes to programs and funding, and to recommend legislation + Lead communication of division and administration research efforts including testifying in support of legislation based on research efforts + Provide leadership to assure the quality of disability related research design, timeliness, and communication **Minimum Qualifications** 3 years of specialized professional experience in disability supports systems, financing and providers. Experience must include: + Experience developing and implementing data analyses and research plans + Experience working with issues that impact supports for people with disabilities + Experience with accounting structure and federal government auditing and reporting requirements **Preferred Qualifications** + Ability to use plain language to communicate research findings + Ability to use statistical methods to design and complete public policy research + Ability to develop data analyses and research workflows + Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint) + Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures **Additional Requirements** To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
