The Research Compliance Associate serves as IRB Analyst, managing the IRB Inbox and performing reviews of human subject proposals. Provides support to other compliance functions in the sciences.

This is a full time, benefits eligible, hourly position with a hiring range of $28.14-35.19 per hour.

Core Responsibilities: Provides direct support to the college’s Institutional Review Board (IRB), managing protocol submissions and conducting reviews of protocols. Manages the IRB inbox, responding to requests for information and forwarding messages on for further review, as necessary. Schedules and coordinates IRB and IACUC committee meetings. Attends IRB meetings to provide technical support, guidance on regulatory matters and ethics, and to offer analysis of proposal content. Provides guidance on IRB committee requirements, including assistance with protocol modifications needed to secure approval, under the direction of the Associate Director for Research Compliance. Administers required training programs on safety and compliance-related matters and maintains training records. Works with Lab Stores and Safety Manager, Administrative Associate, and other members of the STSS Department on safety and compliance-related matters.
