Scope of position:

As a Research Associate in our team, you will be responsible for independently performing and overseeing all laboratory activities related to Histology and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and molecular biology techniques. This role requires technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to high-quality scientific work under tight timelines and regulatory compliance.

 

What will you do?

Prepare both tissue and organoid samples for histological analysis (either cryo or FFPE), including, grossing, fixing, embedding, microtomy, and routine staining.Perform IHC or immunofluorescence staining, protocol optimization for novel biomarkers, and troubleshooting.Carry out molecular biology techniques, including but not limited to: Nucleic acid extraction (DNA/RNA), qPCR/RT-qPCR, PCR and electrophoresis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data to clients or internal stakeholders on time and with high quality.Maintain accurate laboratory records, SOPs, and compliance with quality standards.

 

What will you bring?

Bachelor (MVO or HLO) degree in Life Sciences, and having 2+ of hands-on laboratory experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.Proficient in histology workflows, IHC, and immunofluorescence techniques..Energetic and problem-solve attitude, increasing lab capabilities to support business growth and reach commercial milestones.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills , ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborative mindset.You thrive in a team environment and are committed to delivering quality results.Excellent communication skills (in English), both written and verbal.
