Research Associate II: Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Manager for the Tribal Center

The Catherine Cutler Institute at the University of Southern Maine is seeking a Research Associate II – Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Manager for the Tribal Center.
The Research Associate II (https://drive.google.com/file/d/19tZYp83d0j\_vP05pMs8bO6xLze4SY30C/view?usp=sharing) will serve as the Continuous Quality Improvement Manager for the National Tribal Child Welfare Center for Innovation and Advancement (the Center) (https://www.ntcwcia.org/) , a five-year cooperative agreement funded by the Children’s Bureau that provides training and technical assistance to Tribal child welfare programs in five priority areas: workforce supports, prevention programs, federal requirement support, tribal-state collaborations, and data management.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and enhance organizational performance within the Center. This position will train staff and implement projects to achieve continuous improvement goals. The role involves analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, tracking progress to ensure measurable results, facilitating engaging and interactive meetings and presentations, and reporting to the funder.
This is a grant funded position with a starting annual salary up to $75,000 commensurate with experience. This position can be a remote or hybrid position.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
+ Previous experience working with American Indian/Alaska Native individuals and/or communities.
+ Bachelor’s Degree and seven years of experience managing quality improvement or equivalent combination of higher education and experience.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to work on a variety of large and small teams with diverse groups of people.
