Yes Duties and Responsibilities Qiao Lab- Supports research projects by performing straightforward lab assays and analysis. Carry out experiments as instructed by Principal Investigator (PI). Assists PI, research staff, and students with various lab procedures and projects.
Performs analysis of biological literature, including analysis of primary scientific literature. Analysis requires familiarity with basic methods in microbiology, biochemistry, cell biology and molecular genetics, and the ability to organize productive searches of scientific data bases.
- Carries out literature searches and analyses as instructed by Principle Investigator (PI). Generates reports on these analyses.
- Generates reports on the literature analyses, requiring strong writing and general communication skills.
- Organizes, curates and updates data bases of the acquired information and the corresponding analyses.
- Maintains orderly records.
- Maintains a safe and orderly working environment.
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Bachelor’s degree in related field and one to two years of related experience.
