Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level **Job Summary** The Research Assistant 2 performs lab procedures, basic research, maintenance, and administrative duties under a Principal Investigator. **Essential Functions of the Role** + Performs assays and research procedures according to lab standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Records experimental techniques and data following laboratory protocol. Calculates test results accurately for statistical purposes. Examines, interprets, compiles, and reports results to the Principal Investigator. + Maintains laboratory and equipment according to SOPs. Documents and reports problems to appropriate personnel. + Participates in lab meetings. + Assists in coordinating technical work to ensure effective and cost-efficient project completion.
