Yes Duties and Responsibilities Supports research projects in the Richards lab focused on using human pluripotent stem cell-derived cells and tissues to model viral infection of the central nervous system. Responsibilities include carrying out experiments as instructed by the Principal Investigator (PI), with appropriate training, and assisting the PI, research staff, and students with lab procedures and projects. Additional duties include monitoring the inventory of lab supplies, preparing lab stock solutions, and maintaining pluripotent stem cell lines in culture. Will also be responsible for training incoming students in lab procedures. Gathers, organizes, enters, and analyzes data; performs literature searches and retrieves relevant literature. Maintains a safe and orderly lab environment and ensures compliance with safety regulations. Performs related duties as assigned. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Bachelor’s degree in related field and zero-one year of related experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree.
