Duties and Responsibilities
+ Carries out experiments as instructed by PI. RA will receive training to be able to perform the techniques required to complete the project.
+ Monitors inventory of essential lab supplies and order additional supplies when required.
+ Prepares solutions, buffers, and media.
+ Gathers, organizes, enters, and analyzes data; perform literature searches on computer and retrieve literature from library.
+ Incorporates new information/techniques into experiments with PIs approval.
+ Maintains a safe and orderly lab environment. Makes sure lab environment complies with safety regulations.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
Required: None
Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or related field.

+ Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner
+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established procedures
+ Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency
+ Ability to perform basic filing, office procedures, and word processing
